A 'Doggy Evening'

The Merseyside Gundog Club is planning a series of 'doggy' events in the form of social evenings, to be held in the forthcoming winter months.

The plan is to have a specialist speaker on each of the gundog sub-groups who will invite questions, comments and discussion on an informal basis, and hopefully stimulate some interesting debate.

There will be a pie and peas or hot-pot supper included and everyone is welcome. If the idea proves to be popular the evenings will be organised on a regular basis.

The first evening will be devoted to HPR breeds, so come along and join in the discussion about your favourite subject and you may get some of the answers that you have been looking for.

As this is a new venture the details have yet to be finalised, but if you fancy a fun evening with fellow enthusiasts please get in touch with our secretary, Mrs Ann Moss on 01704 893128 and then we can get things moving.

GUNDOG TRAINING CLASSES

We normally hold gundog training classes on the last Sunday of the month.
These classes are intended for dogs and owmers of all abilities
from beginners to the more experienced.

The next training session will be Sunday, 27th November 2011
After which there will not be another one until Sunday 29th January 2012
To be held at Richmond Hill kennels, Mere Brow, Tarleton PR4 6JA

SHOWS

The date of our next Open Show is Sunday 5th February 2012
at Sutton Sports Centre, St Helens,
You can have your dogs microchipped at this show.
